Pete and I caught another sled dog race this weekend. The Three Bear Sled Dog Races were held about an hour away in the town of Land O' Lakes.

Not all of the dogs look like the sled dogs you read about. In fact, many of the dogs just looked like run of the mill dogs.

There were a lot of teams that were not made up of Malamutes or Huskies, but I didn't see a single Weimaraner pulling a sled - doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

We had a nice dinner at
Smokey's in Manitowish Waters on Saturday evening.
On Saturday I headed over to
Lake Tomahawk for their Winter Festival. It was a little rainy, but snowshoe baseball carried on. Oddly enough, snowshoe baseball is a summer activity in Lake Tom with games held every Monday night, June through August. It was strange to see the game being played in the snow.
