And the Leaves Came Down

Just a few days ago the trees were brilliant with color, but now all the color is on the ground. Pete attempted to corral the leaves using the blower.

He gathered them up and shoveled them into the woods.  A lot of effort, but the leaves kept coming down.  Today the wind did the work for us and blew all the leaves into a corner.

My car was leafed in

The steps were a waterfall of leaves.

CHARGE!
Piles of leaves don't stop Asher.

Fall Colors

The colors are beautiful this weekend.  Pete took some pictures of the dogs and Net Lake a few days ago.

Look at the colors!

Autumn Already?

It's been in the 60s during the day and in the 40s at night - too cool, too soon for me. Yesterday on the way to work I spotted a sign of things to come -  a glimpse of fall color.

Heading west on County J

This morning Maddie Jo, Gracie and I saw another tree starting to turn. We went down to Net Lake and enjoyed some time on the dock.

"Where's Autumn?"

Across the lake!
